The spring loaded bottom door guide for a sliding door or stop for a door leaf has a body sliding in a guide tube sunk perpendicularly into the floor and resting on a helical spring placed at the bottom of the tube. The guide tube has two end plates perpendicular to the axis of symmetry and a top plate which has an opening of the same section as the tube. A counter-plate which is flush with the floor has an opening to take the spherical head of the guide.
