Security fastening for licence plate - has ratchet shank on bolt engaged by retaining lock and including smooth head

The car licence plate is locked to the vehicle with a special locking bolt which is passed through a hole in the plate and mounting and which has a ratchet profile (6) on its shaft. A lock (7) is slid over the ratchet shaft and is secured on the shaft by a security key. The front of the securing bolt has a smooth head so that it cannot be gripped by forcing tools, while the ratchet end can be slid into a chassis recess leaving only the lock visible. The bolt can have a double shaft with a double lock for added security.
