The circular saw blade has at least one radial slot which runs from the space between two adjacent teeth towards the centre of the blade. The trailing edge of this slot is provided withcutting teeth which are wider than the thickness of the blade. The cutting edges of the teeth are inclined relative to a radius. The lower points of the cutting edges lead the top edges. The angle of inclination is pref. approximately 10 deg..
