<p>Sausage skin hoses, made up of a material such as nylon tube, lose their stability if handled without a tubular core on which the hose is gathered in close corrugations. Their transfer to the filler spout requires manual handling and loses productive machine time. This can be saved if the hose is pushed complete with tubular core over the filler spout and is held at the machine end by a split clamp with a hinge at one end and an eccentric cam with operating lever at the othr end. Such a clamp can be readily made by any user to save valuable time.</p> |
