The terminal is intended to receive a cylindrical pin terminal. It has a rear shank for connecting to an electrical conductor, having a rear shank for connecting to an electrical conductor and a front annular part open at the front, intended to receive the pin terminal and divided up by axial slits which are uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction into fingers each having an internal enlarged region.
