PURPOSE:To let adjustment of calibers to be surely performed through simple operation by sandwiching a pair of the right and left arms to be sandwiched continuously provided from roll bearings by the inner and outer sandwiching arms which are individually synchronously oscillated by turnbackles. CONSTITUTION:A pair of right and left arms to be sandwiched 18A, 18B are continuously provided from the bearing 3 of the rolling roll movable in its axial center direction (the description hereinafter covers only the upper roll). Inner and outer sandwiching arms 16A, 16B, 15A, 15B which sandwich these from the inside and outside are provided individually oscillatably. Turnbackles 25, 19 are provided between both arms respectively. For example, to move the upper roll 1 in the arrow (c) direction, a nut 26 is loosened and the backle 25 is operated to extend. As a result, a longitudinal pin 21 rotates and a notch 22 comes parallel with the inner side 23, thus producing a clearance between both. Next, the backle 19 is operated to shrink and the arm 15 oscillates around a longitudinal pin 21 so as to approach to the rolling mill housing 5 side.
