<p>A plug for a lubricant casing including an outer adapter threadedly connected to the casing having a closure wall at one end and an open flanged end at its other end threadedly receiving a plug containing a strong electromagnetic. The outer adaptor has a pair of ports permitting lubricant to flow through the adapter into the influence of the electromagnetic field to remove metal filings from the lubricant. The adapter can be unthreaded partially from the casing and the inner plug removed for cleaning. The closure wall of the adapter prevents drainage of lubricant from the casing during cleaning of the inner plug.</p> |
