PURPOSE:To protect heat transmission from dererioration by the vapor lock due to the wick which does not stick to the internal circumference by pushing both pipe ends by straight projections in the axial direction so as to make the wick stick to the internal circumference constituting the heat pipe body. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a pipe 11 constituting a heat pipe body are not only blocked by an end plate 11a which is of the same material as the body but fine cylindrical wire netting 12 is let to be sticked as wick to the longitudinal internal circumference. The section rectangular to the axis inserts a corrugated member 13 to the above wire netting 12 as the wick holder and the inside of the wick 12 is supported linearly by a projection part 13a in the axial direction. A plate spring 14 which pushes the internal surface is fitted in order to strengthen the holding force of the above member 13. From what has been said the wick 12 can be sticked properly to the pipe 11 and the increase of heat transfer rate by the vapor lock due to bad adhesion to the pipe can be prevented. |
