PURPOSE:To enhance the performance of an electrode prepared in a process in which a catalyst particle is mixed with a solid polymer electrolyte dissolved in a solution, the suspension obtained is heated with stirred, and the pressure is reduced to just before boiling to vaporize the solvent and to remarkably improve the performance of a solid polymer fuel cell using this electrode. CONSTITUTION:In a manufacturing method for a solid polymer fuel cell electrode, a suspension is prepared by mixing a catalyst particle with a solid polymer electrolyte dissolved in a solution, and a solvent is vaporized and removed from the suspension. In this process, the evaporation, removing operation is controlled, the suspension is heated with stirred, and the pressure is reduced to just before boiling to evaporate the solvent. |
