PURPOSE:To eliminate a generation of mislanding with a displacement prevented of the shadow mask, by installing a frame holder to the side wall part of mask frame through a bimetal plate with its thermal correction different from each other and by securing the other end to the panel. CONSTITUTION:In case of installing frame holders 7 to 10 to the side wall of a mask frame 2 with bimetal plates 3 to 6 intermediately placed, a bimetal of thermal correction quantity different from each other is used for the bimetal plates 3 to 6 neighboring to each other. A shadow mask 1, installed to the mask frame 2 with such frame holders 7 to 10 provided, is fixed to a panel 11 to construct a color picture tube. In this way, when in operation, the shadow mask 1 is prevented effectively from causing a displacement, and the promotion is made of improving a characteristic of the picture tube in a manner not to generate a mislanding. |
