PURPOSE:To reduce error in the accuracy by detecting offset drift of differential amplifier, amplifier, etc., in a gyroscope thereby correcting a detected angular speed. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 1 delivers an angular speed detection signal from detection electrodes 13, 14 through the use of Coriolis force. An oscillator 8 drives an oscillator 1. A detection signal is amplified by a differential amplifier 2 and subjected to A/D conversion 6. A CPU 7 processes an output from the A/D converter 6 to calculate an angular speed. A regulator 9 regulates the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 8 based on the output signal from the CPU 7. The CPU 7 delivers a signal in such frequency band as the bending oscillation is not produced from the oscillator 1 for a predetermined time at a predetermined period. The CPU 7 calculates an offset drift from based on an output from the A/D converter 6 and then calculates a true angular speed based on the offset drift. |
