PURPOSE:To enable multiple kinds of printing shapes to be selected as desired and achieve the miniaturization of the apparatus by letting chargeable powder particles deposit on a powder carrying member and letting discharging be effected according to printing shapes between such member and discharge styli. CONSTITUTION:A powder carrying member 1 to which chargeable powder particles are applied is formed to endless belt form composed of a wire gauge or the like having mesh of the extent of making the passage of powder particles difficult. A printing head 5 provided with one or more discharge styli is disposed in the position spaced at a specified distance from the 1b face of this carrying member 1. The head 5 is controlled overall by a control unit 6. In addition, the spacing distance between the carrying member 1 and the object to be printed 8 and the spacing distance between the carrying member 1 and head 6 are detected and adjusted by a level adjusting device 7. These make it possible to print desired arbitrary shapes to be printed on the object to be printed, save transfer process and miniaturize the apparatus. |
