Soft cheese packing system - forms stack with interleaved trays round brine pipe over which box is fitted

The Feta-cheese packing system mounts the pieces of cheese (2) in a square area on a base (1) round a pipe (3) at right angles to the latter and in the centre. After this a square tray (5), divided into panels to match the shape and number of the cheese pieces and with a central hole is fitted on the pipe and over them, so as to form layers of cheese pieces with trays between them, constituting a stack of the desired height. A box of this height is then fitted base upwards over the stack and the two are inverted, brine being introduced via the pipe. The pipe is removed and the box seales.
