The cell consists of a positive electrode comprising a depolarising mass presenting a first and second extremity and encircling a current collecting rod connected to the second extrimity. A negative electrode is located around the mass and ironically cooperating with it via an electrolyte. A plastics casing encloses the active electromechanical constitutients of the cell that are the mass. The casing is formed by a box and a cover one inside the other and positioning the positive electrode. The bottom of the box holds the centres the second extremity of the mass. The cover has a skirt covering the second extremity of the mass.
