An electric razor assembly comprising a reduced-size case (1) serving as a grip in use, and a drive block (2) composed of a mounting bracket (10), and a motor bracket (13), said drive block (2) being detachably inserted into the case (1). This electric razor assembly is also provided with couplers (14) each of which is secured cured at one end thereof to the drive block (2) and provided at the other end with a planar resilient member which is formed with lugs (18) at each of its bent pieces (19). When the drive block (2) is inserted into the case (1), the lugs (18) of the respective couplers (14) are engaged with the engaging recesses (7) formed on the inner peripheral wall of the case (1). The lugs (18) of the couplers (14) are securely engaged with the recesses (7) on the inner peripheral wall of the case (1) through an inner cylinder (20) which is used as a battery reverse-insertion preventive cover which is to be inserted into the case (1) from its rear end and mounted at the rear end of the drive block (2). |
