<p>PURPOSE:To improve a braking efficiency still more and to miniaturize and lighten by offsetting the piston pitch center of a small diameter piston and large diameter piston against the pad center of a brake pad. CONSTITUTION:A small diameter piston 15 is fitted so as to become at the inlet side B in the disk rotating direction and a large diameter piston 14 at the outlet side A in the disk rotating direction. The pad center S1 of a brake pad 11 offsets by a length L1 to the outlet side A in the disk rotating direction against the piston pitch center S2 of the small diameter piston 15 and large diameter piston 14. The brake pad 11 having the necessary min. pad area is moved by pushing with the whole face of a piston. A braking efficiency is thus improved much more and the device can be miniaturized and lightened.</p> |
