ARRANGEMENT FOR PNEUMATICALLY REGULATING THE INTRODUCTION OF SUBSTANCES INTO CHAMBERS

An arrangement for regulating the introduction of substances into chambers is disclosed and is particularly wellsuited for the feeding of coal into coke ovens. The arrangement includes a chamber which is to be filled to a predetermined level and a feeding device is provided for feeding material into the chamber. The feeding device has a switch which stops the introduction of the material into the chamber when the level of the material reaches the predetermined level, as the result of the generation of a predetermined pressure differential across a differential pressure switch of the feeding device.
