An industrial mfg. process such as that involving a furnace is controlled and an indication of operating state is provided. This allows signalling that another stage of operations can commence. A signal is emitted to indicate the operations. A time interval is chosen to allow maintenance during operations and a signal is generated to signify the end of work. At this stage a signal to alert the maintenance operator is given if a reply is not given during time interval. There is a computer system which is able to vary timing of operations. |
