<p>PURPOSE:To achieve simpler construction and operation by mounting a cue signal head, in such a manner as to make contact to a tape, to the tension pin on the back side of the magnetic tape in a cassette half for the fast feeding and rewinding. CONSTITUTION:When in the case of program-searching operation a fast-feed or rewinding operation is made where a magnetic tape 4 is not pulled out from the cassette half, the cue signal having been recorded at the recording with a full-width erase head 8 or audio control head is reproduced by the cue signal head 7f of the tention pin 7 making contact to the back side of the tape 4, whereby the program- search position may be detected. In this case, the tape 4 directly travels between the take-up and feed reels and therefore its travel position slightly fluctuates in the vertical and longitudinal directions but the head 8 records the cue signal over the entire tape width a and this signal is reproduced by the head 7f of the width c having the relation of a >>C, hence the signal is surely reproduced. Hence, the program-searching of the magnetic head may be accomplished by the simple construction and operation.</p> |
