Title compds. [I; R1 = alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, substituted aryl or aralkyl ; R2 = H or one of R1 ;R3, R4 = one of R1; Az = 1,2,4-triazolyl-(1), 1,2,4-triazolyl-(4), 1,2,3-triazolyl-(1), useful as fungicide, were prepd. by treating II with Grignard reagent in inactive solvent. Thus, 1-(4-chlorophenoxy)-1- [(1,2,4-triazolyl-(1') -3,3-dimethyl- butane-2-on was heated with Grignard reagent solution composed of CH3I and Mg to give III [R1 = PhC1 ; R2 = H; R3 = Me ; R4 = CMe3; Az = 1,2,4-triazol .
