<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal detection circuit capable of more highly precisely detecting the specified signal pattern of synchronization signals or the like. SOLUTION: In this circuit for detecting the signals of the specified pattern of the cyclically appearing synchronization signals or the like, the matching detection circuits 2-5 of the subsets of the specified signal pattern are provided. In this case, a detection level decoding circuit 6 indicates the degree of the certainty of signal detection by a level depending on how many subsets are correctly detected and outputs it.
