A microprocessor controlled petrol pump is used. The system includes a display for the unit cost of the petrol and includes a register for storing the accumulating value of the delivery provided. The volumetric delivery of petrol is also displayed. A built-in buffer memory is used. It enables the values to be stored during the period when the pump is not being used. It also stores values in the event of any external disturbance being generated.
