Light-brick was manufd. by the press molding of the mixt. of foamed plastic spherical material, silica material such as fine sand, cement and slaked lime followed by heating in a steam batch at 110-200oC under pressure to give the brick which has improved tensile and compressive strength because of the foamed plastic melted and penetrated to the mortar layer of the brick.
