<p>The snowchain is made for use on road vehicles, from a mesh pattern of cables with grip elements at the cross over points. The grips are arranged in a zigzag pattern over the tread so that a self tightening effect is obtained, as well as a reduced noise level. The zigzag effect can be enhanced by several tensioning straps along each side of the wheel. The grip elements and the cables may all be made from plastics material.</p> |
