<p>Anti-wear additive compsn. for lubricants comprising mixt. of alkylene oxide polymer (made from 1-30 moles alkylene oxide and 70-99 moles alkanol fatty acid or alkylphenol) and 0.01-15(0.5-5)wt. % sulphur. Additive mixt. is used in amts. of 0.1-30 (3-10)wt. % in mineral or synthetic lubricating oils (45-6000 SSU at 100 degrees F) and greases to provide anti-wear and anti-weld characteristics.</p> |
