Single element seal for fluid measurement screw connection - consists of sealing tube with one shaped end in contact with measurement chamber

A seal for a screw connector joining a measurement chamber and housing, esp. for fluid quantity measurement devices, has a single extremely simple sealing element giving at least as good as seal as conventional multiple element seals. A sealing tube (18) is placed under axial compression with one end contacting the measurement chamber, and the other the housing. One end is concave so as to mate with the chamber outer surface. The other end fits in a housing inlet clamp such as a screw cap (7) where it butts onto the inlet tube flange.
