PURPOSE:To prevent passengers from incorrectly riding on a train by arranging both an automatic ticket vender and a reference ticket issuing machine so that the riding section may be discriminated by the reference tickets. CONSTITUTION:In a railway, in which terminal stations A and H are taken care of clerks whereas intermediate stations are manless, any incorrect ride is prevented. A reference ticket 1 is printed with a code number 2 indicating the station name, the riding date 3 and a ticket number 4. The code number 2 is coincident with the code number of each station A or H. Each of the manless stations B to G is equipped with an automatic ticket vender and a reference ticket issuing machine for the automatic issuing purposes. The passenger who has no reference ticket at his alighting station is required to pay the fare for the section from the start station to the alighting station. |
