Met ring and mixing system for viscous and pasty materials, consists of a cylinder with a reciprocating piston inside it. The two components can be added one to each end via solenoid values. There is a solenoid value on the discharge. The piston is made two perforated plates which can be rotated w.r.t. each other. In this way the orifice area through the plates can be adjusted. By altering the orifice, quantities of each component can be drawn in, mixed and then discharged as part of a sequence. Used for mixing and metering viscous or pasty materials. Allows materials to be mixed without air entrainment in sterile conditions.
