Parent patent described display stand for newspapers, periodicals, journals, especially for "Self-service" use having a holding frame and containers, each for several display items fastened to it. The containers are arranged so that they slope upwards from their fixing points and are open at the top to enable an intending buyer to take one or more item out of the container. At least the wall of the containers facing a buyer is transparent. In the addn. the size of the container is such to accommodate at least items of standard broadsheet size DIN A3. The containers are moulded in a single piece of acrylic resin.
