PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire for a large motorcycle which is suitable for high speed driving, which pneumatic tire includes a tread having a combination of circumferential grooves and transversely extending grooves, so that the maneuvering stability of the motorcycle having said pneumatic tires is increased on both dry and wet roads. CONSTITUTION:A tread 11 is provided with a center groove 12 extending along a center line X-X, and first and second circumferential grooves 13-1, 13-2 having zigzag patterns along tread peripherals e. When liniar driving of the motorcycle, an outer side of each circumferentially extending rib 14 difined by the first circumferential groove 13-1 engraved zigzag and rather finely, and repsecitive portions of first and second blocks 17. 19 adjacent to the center of the tread become a contact surface with the ground, and when curvilinear driving, portions of the blocks having higher rigidity become a contact surface according to the magnitude of camber angle, so that the necessary camber-thrust will be easily aquired. |
