The case is provided with pintles (2) split longitudinally throughout their length and over an arc equal to at least 90 DEG and less than 180 DEG . The tie for the strap comprises a transverse bar having a cylindrical part (7') truncated by a plane (7b) parallel to the axis of the bar. The cylindrical part extends over an arc equal to at least 180 DEG and equal to at most twice the arc of the split in the pintle whose edges are oriented so as to allow the bar to pass laterally when it occupies a specified angular position, the bar being locked in the pintle in all the other positions. <IMAGE>
