In photogrammetric evaluation systems, it is desired to allow immediate viewing, for purposes of verification of the information resulting from the examination, in a photogrammetric apparatus, of the image of a photographic frame (22). For this purpose, the photogrammetric apparatus comprises a device comprising a tracer head (6) coupled to a frame holder (21) by coupling members (9, 10) so that the movements of the frame holder (21) relative to a reference cause corresponding relative movements between the head (6) and a recording medium (12) of the device, which comprises in addition an optical system for reflecting the trace of the recording in order to superpose it with the said image of the frame (22) and thus to allow comparison and possible correction. Such a device is suitable in particular for analytical or analog tracers. <IMAGE>
