The machine which can swage the end of a curved pipe has a frame (1) with guides (13) for a platform (11) which can move vertically up and down. The platform carries a slide (8) which can move horizontally in guide bushes (11). The slide carries a pair of rollers (19, 30) which can be clamped against the wall of the pipe (6) by means of a lever (25) and hydraulic jack (28). The inner roller (19) is driven by a hydraulic motor so that it rolls around the inside of the pipe (6). The slide follows this circular motion since the weight of the platform is balanced by the hydraulic cylinder.
