PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for evaluating and indicating imaging performance of spectacles lens in worn state. SOLUTION: A performance index which indicates the performance of spectacles lens with respect to all object points in the visual field, when the outside field is observed through the spectacles lens is defined and obtained, and the scale of the performance index is indicated in an indication state, capable being comprehended visually. For example, on a corresponding pixel of an original image of the view field of the object points or the distorted original image which is the image of visual field through the spectacles lens, a performance index distribution image formed by giving gradation value or RGB brightness value, determined according to the value of the performance index, is displayed.
