Timber door frame with stepped profile - accommodates door panel with contacting seal and stepped frame profile

The door frame is made pref. for natural timber. The door panel is connected to frame so that the joint profile ensures clearance for arbitrary connection to ensure good appearance and quiet closing. The frame is along its outside periphery divided into two halves in its depth. A small er clearance part is used as door connecting part (3). A greater clearance part is used as a fastening part (4) for the hinge (9) leading to the door panel (8). The door has edge steps for connecting with the door frame steps and with the surrounding peripheral seals in door frame profile.
