SELF OSCILLATION FREQUENCY MIXER USING SINGLE DEVICE

PURPOSE: A self oscillating mixer using a single device is provided, which realizes a large integration and low power consumption and an ultra light weight of a semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION: A signal input port(1) receives an input signal by being connected to the external of a frequency mixer. A gate input signal matching circuit(2) comprises passive devices like a micro strip line or RLC devices and mixes the inputted signal. A micro strip line coupler(3) couples only an input signal frequency and blocks a DC current inputted by an external circuit and thus removes a circuit interference. A micro strip line acts as an inductive resistor to supply a DC voltage stably and performs a feedback operation for a stable operation of a device. A micro strip line feedback stub and a micro strip line stub(7) are connected to a source port of a transistor(5) in parallel. And an output matching circuit(8) transmits an output signal. A drain current bias(9) comprises a micro strip line or RFC and a bypass capacitor to apply an operation bias of the transistor device and the output matching circuit. And the self oscillating mixer also comprises a micro strip line feedback stub.
