PURPOSE: A steel pellet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable the mass production of the steel pellet using a stamping method, and to improve durability of a product, thereby enabling the permanent use thereof. CONSTITUTION: The steel pellet comprises: a flat upper panel(12); side panels(16) integrally formed with the upper panel by folding the upper panel downward, each side panel being formed with a center opening; four rectangular corners(18) integrally formed with the side panels for connecting the adjacent side panels, respectively; reinforcement bars extending between the side panels across the upper panel; and fasteners for screwing adjacent bolt holes(22) formed at the side panels.
