PURPOSE: A telegram service method using a mobile terminal is provided to offer the telegram service of various contents at a low price using the SMS(Short Message Service) function, regardless of time and places. CONSTITUTION: If the user of the first mobile terminal pushes a specific button in order to transmit a telegram to the second mobile terminal, the first mobile terminal provides a message send screen(S10). If the user selects a message send menu, the first mobile terminal provides a destination number input screen(S20). If the telephone number of the second mobile terminal is inputted, the first mobile terminal provides a message input screen. If the message input screen is displayed, the user inputs a code signal to indicate telegram contents(S30). If the code signal, containing an identifier, a theme number and a detailed theme number, is selected(S31-S33), the code signal and the destination number are transmitted from the first mobile terminal. The code signal and the destination number are received to an SMSC(SMS Center) through a CDMA network(S40). The SMSC extracts the telegram contents corresponding to the code signal from a previously constructed database(S50). Then the SMSC transmits the extracted telegram contents to the mobile terminal of the destination number through the CDMA network(S60). |
