<p>Fasteners (10) in combination with a flexible sheet or screen (12) fasten the sheet to a support structure (F), e.g. a window frame. The sheet is provided with edgings (14, 16) having channels (20) engaged by fastener tangs (50) The fasteners are of one- piece, springy sheet metal and generally D-shaped having base portions (32) which may be screwed to the screen edgings, the base portions having a free end, face portions (30) screwed as at 18 to the structure (F) the face portions having a tree end adjacent the free ends of the base portions and generally arcuate portions (34) connecting the base and face portions. Openings (not shown) are provided in the portions (34) for the passage of a screw driver to fix the screws (18) which hold the fasteners with their portions (34) resiliently deflected whereby the screen (12) is tensioned between the fasteners. In an alternative embodiment the base portion is extended and formed with an end portion at right angles to fix to the front surface of the window frame. <IMAGE></p> |
