Magnetometer with direct digital coding of test signal - counts pulses of hf generator and converts counter reading by d=a converter into current applied to probe
摘要

The magnetometer measures magnetic fields are field gradients. It has a probe whose one winding generates an auxiliary field which saturates the core magnetisation loop. The other winding delivers a test voltage depending on the flux density in the core. The auxiliary field is generated by a current produced by counting pulses of an h.f. generator by a digital counter whose reading is converted by a D-A convertor. The counter instantaneous reading is transferred to a store register when the measurement winding voltage reaches an extreme value. The digital value in the store register is the measure for the field intensity and direction.
