SELF-TRAVELING VEHICLE FOR LAYING PILOT WIRE FOR LAYING CABLE

PURPOSE:To extremely simply and rapidly insert a pilot wire for laying a cable into a trough by allowing a self-traveling vehicle traveling the upper part of the inside of the trough while pressing against both the sidewalls of the trough and a ceiling to insert the pilot wire. CONSTITUTION:While pressing against both 4the sidewalls 301, 302 of the trough 300 and the ceiling, the self-traveling vehicle 1 automatically travels the upper part of the inside of the trough 300 to draw the pilot wire 81 locked with one end of a hook fixed on the body of the vehicle 1 and insert the pilot wire 81 into the trough 300. One end of the cable laying wire to be laid is fixed on the other end of the pilot wire 81 and inserted into the trough 300. Thereby, the cable can be laid in the trough 300 without removing a cover for the trough 300. Thus, the vehicle 1 can smoothly travel without interfaring with the cable laid in the trough 300 by traveling the upper part of the inside of the trough 300.
