PURPOSE:To inform a user accurately of the end of the lifetime of a battery irrespec tive of the kinds of a watch by stopping the watch, when the battery voltage is lowered, so that the display is instantly fixed. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of a battery 6 is higher than that of a reference voltage generator 8, no signal is generated from a voltage comparator 7. As a result, a time measuring mechanism 3 and a display mechanism 4 operate as a normal watch assembly. On the other hand, when the voltage of the battery 6 becomes lower that of the generator 8, signals are supplied from the comparator 7 to a counter 5 and the watch 3 so that the mechanism 3 is stopped and that the mechanism 4 fixes the display at that instant. |
