In the region of a condenser tube bundle (6, 7), the double tube plate has a vapour-side tube plate sheet (3) which together with the supporting tube plate sheet (1) forms a closed separation chamber (4). The condenser tubes (6) and support bolts (9, 10) of the tube bundles are rolled or welded into the two tube plate sheets. The separation chamber (4) is held under pressure during operation, preferably by means of condensate, due to the fact that two of the support bolts (9, 10) are designed to be hollow and are connected in a liquid-conducting fashion to one each of the separation chambers (4) on both sides. <IMAGE>
