A scroll compressor causing less leakage loss and having high efficiency. The scroll compressor comprises a swing scroll (31) having spiral teeth (31L, 31M) on its both faces and a pair of fixed scrolls (33, 34) installed so as to face both faces of the swing scroll (31) and having spiral teeth (33E, 34E) engaged with the spiral teeth (31L, 31M) of the swing scroll (31). Tip seals are fitted only to the spiral teeth of the fixed scroll engaged with one of the spiral teeth of the swing scroll (31) and the one of the spiral teeth of the swing scroll (31).
