PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic disc apparatus wherein sealed modules are made mutually interchangeable by electromagnetically coupling the sealed module and the stator of a driving mechanism through a sealing cover. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic discs 3 which are stacked in 3 steps onto the same shaft are supported rotatably to a sub-base plate 4 and are coupled to a pulley 3 which is driven by the belt of a motor. Magnetic heads 5 are opposedly disposed to the magnetic discs 2 to read and write the desired information on the tracks of the magnetic discs 2. The magnetic heads 5 are integrally supported by a support truck 6 and electromagnetically couple the coil 8 secured to the support truck 6 and the magnetic circuit 10 fixed to a main base plate 9. The truck moves on the sub-base plate 4 and is thereby positioned. The magnetic discs 2, magnetic heads 5, support truck 6 and coil 8 are sealed by the sub-base plate 4 and cover 11 to constitute a mutually interchangeable module 1. The coil 8 and magnetic circuit 10 make electromagnetical coupling through the sealing cover 11, thus there are no hindrances in characteristics. |
