PURPOSE:To charge new catalyst to catalytic layer in dry type denitrification equipment, a perforated preheater is provided in the waste gas flow passage, thereby effectively avoiding sudden temperature change, catalyst destruction, poisoning occurrence, and denitrification decrease. CONSTITUTION:Catalytic layer 5 is formed between support members 4, 4 in the reactor 1, and the waste gas residing container 6 at the top of the reactor 1 is provided with a preheater 8 consisting of blind plates 7,7. The preheater 8 may be perforated for gas passage so that every portion of the catalyst can be preheated. The new catalyst is fed from the hopper 9, preheated by waste gas and charged to the catalytic layer 5. This process effectively prevents catalyst destruction and poisoning by acidic ammonium sulfate formation which may be caused by sudden temperature change in conventional direct catalyst feeding. |
