<p>The wind-driven power generation unit comprises a rotor (1) rotating about a vertical axis and carried on a mast (2). The rotor carries two or more rotor blades (5) which are connected to the rotor via cables (8) permitting adjustment of the effective blade circle radius. The cables may be arranged in pairs for each blade. The angle of individual blades may be secured by wires (i'). The rotor may have radial rotor arms (4) whilst the blades have projections (6, 6') capable of sliding into or on to the ends of the arms. The cables may be adjustable by means of radial screw spindles (9) in the rotor arms.</p> |
