In order to manufacture a handling pallet, a sheet of metal mesh is folded so as to form a body which comprises a first floor (14) and two lateral walls (16) on the edges of this floor; the two outer parts of the sheet are then folded inwards so as to form, for the body, at least one part (18) of a second floor opposite the first; the end edges of the sheet are then brought into contact with at least one zone of the body thus formed, and the end edges are welded along the lines of contact. A further sheet of metal mesh (22) is finally welded to the second floor (18) in order to complete it. These pallets are intended to be transported by fork-lift trucks. <IMAGE> |
