The space ventilation unit has two openings or sets of openings, each of which can act as an outlet instead of inlet, being mounted on the inside of a house outer wall. Each of the inner conduits ending at the openings (1, 23a, 23b) has a special succession of noice-dampening componets. The conduits join each other in a non-transparent collapsible chamber containing filters for dust, other suspended matter and insects. This chamber also forms the preliminary stage of a succession of noice-dampening units in the conduits.
