PURPOSE:To enable other function display other than time to be performed by making effective use of the hour and minute display elements of an analog watch. CONSTITUTION:An analog display part consists of display element groups 8 and 9 of dot type comprising constituting at least 12 pieces of photoelectrical display elements on the inner side and 60 pieces on the outer side to annular form. To display the ordinary time, e.g., 10 o'clock 25 minutes, the display element group 8 is given and energized in the position of 10 o'clock and the 60 divided elements of the display element groups 8 and 9 are driven and energized in the position of 25 minutes. To display the alarm time at e.g., 3 o'clock 00 minutes, the display element group 8 is energized in the position of 3 o'clock and the display elements 8 and 9 in the position of 12 o'clock respectively. To display the residual time of timer time, e.g., 3 hours 25 minutes, the elements of the display element group 8 of the positions from 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock are energized and the elements of the display element group 9 from the position of 1 minute to the position of 25 minutes are energized. |
